About Us

The NGDA was established over 40 years ago so there would be a representative body to engage with government departments thus regulating and improving standards of processing within the game industry and meet the ever increasing export requirements to allow our game to be sold all over the world.
The shooting of game from the British countryside goes back many centuries. Game was once seen as a luxury item but is now widely available in supermarkets, butchers and online and is priced at a more affordable cost. It is the aim of the NGDA to introduce more customers to game meat and further improve the quality and standards of game itself.

Our membership covers the length and breadth of England. Scotland is covered by the Scottish Game Dealers Association.
